Please note that the Love Irish Tours Limited terms and conditions are subject to and governed by Irish Law.

It is the responsibility of each client of Love Irish Tours to read the terms and conditions of your booking.
Your booking is bound by these terms.

Love Irish Tours is an incoming tour operator which means we are ‘land only’ service. Love Irish Tours are not responsible for passenger travel into or out of Ireland. We cannot be responsible for any delays, cancellations or other hindrance of passage to Ireland.

Your Travel Booking

Whether you book alone or as a group, we will only deal with the lead booking name in all subsequent correspondence, including changes, amendments and cancellations. You must be 18 years old at the time of booking and possess the legal capacity and authority to book as the lead name and travel on vacation with us. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the personal details or any other information supplied in respect of yourself and any other person travelling on the booking and for passing on any information regarding the booking or any changes made in relation thereto, to all persons travelling on such booking, including but not limited to information on schedule changes or copies of booking confirmations.

When you or (if you are booking through a travel agent) your travel agent ask for your booking to be confirmed, we will confirm the booking, and set aside your chosen accommodation (or similar when your chosen accommodation is not available). Next, we will send you or your travel agent a confirmation. We may not be able to confirm some of our ground arrangements straight away. If there is any change to any of the details discussed at the time of booking, we will notify you promptly of any new or changed details, including a change to the total price (if any). If any detail on the confirmation invoice is not correct tell us or your travel agent immediately. If there is an obvious error on the confirmation invoice we reserve the right to correct it as soon as we become aware of it.

Insurance

It is a condition of your booking with us that you and all other members of your party, including infants and children, are adequately insured on vacation. Any person who is under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult on his/her journey. There may be other restrictions and conditions on some offers.

Love Irish Tours are not responsible for any personal injury, property damage or loss a guest incurs arising from acts or omissions by any hotel or other organization. Love Irish Tours accepts no responsibility for cancellations of or interruptions to a tour due to delay or changes in schedules, flight cancellations, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, mechanical breakdowns, the actions of any government, weather, acts of God or circumstances beyond its control or for expenses or losses incurred as a result of any such circumstances. To guard against such unforeseen circumstances, you should have a travel insurance plan before you travel on your vacation.

You should also ensure you have adequate health and travel insurance to cover all eventualities related to Covid. Love Irish Tours can take no responsibility if you cannot travel due to Covid or if you contract Covid while on tour. You should have an adequate travel & health insurance plan to cover you in this event.

Price

All prices we advertise are accurate at the date published, but we reserve the right to change any of those prices from time to time.

If we cancel your booking in circumstances such as for example, there are not enough people booked on your vacation or you do not pay the balance of the vacation price on time, we may cancel it. We reserve the right to cancel your vacation in any circumstances but if we cancel your vacation, except where this is because you have not paid, you can either have a refund or accept a replacement vacation from us of equivalent or similar standard and price, if we are able to offer you one.

If we change your booking details – We hope that we will not have to make any change to your vacation but, because our vacations are planned many months in advance, we sometimes do need to make changes. We reserve the right to do this at any time. We will let you or your travel agent know about any important changes when you book. If you have already booked, we will let you know as soon as we can, if there is time before your departure.

Currency

Escorted Drivers

Love Irish Tours will provide those visitors choosing an escorted tour with a personal driver/guide. The driver will also act as the guide for the duration of the tour. Where numbers dictate, Love Irish Tours will designate a driver and an additional guide. The driver will act as a guide throughout the passage of your vacations. At designated attractions around your vacation, the driver will pass over to the guide at the designated attractions. It should be noted that some attractions are self-guided and each visitor will be expected to self-guide within the attractions as required. The driver/guide will not normally enter the attraction but will wait outside for the visitors to return to the vehicle. The drivers are allocated to the visitors for eight hours driving per day (an additional hour will be designated within the day for lunch). For the purposes of health and safety the drivers, unless in exceptional circumstances, cannot undertake driving beyond these hours. Driving is defined as a period from the commencement of the tour to the conclusion of the tour for that day and not timed on a basis of continuous driving for eight hours. Love Irish Tours considers the safety of its visitors and staff of paramount importance. The drivers will at all times obey the rules of the road. Each escorted tour will commence between 9am and 10am each day and run for 9 hours from start. In some circumstances, the tour can start at an earlier or later time but the reasons for the change should be brought to the attention of a member of Love Irish Tours as soon as possible.

Self-Drive Packages

Your package includes the following: accommodation each night, breakfast each morning having stayed at the accommodation overnight, car rental (car model is not guaranteed) with compulsory insurance, unlimited mileage & breakdown cover, and personal itinerary.
Car rental companies require the main driver to supply a credit card in his/her name in order to pick up the car. A credit card is required for the excess/deductible.

Drivers must hold a current driving license, having been valid for at least 2 years. You must be between 25 – 75 years old. (Minivans and some other vehicles require the driver to be 30 years old or more). Younger and older drivers can be accommodated at an extra charge. Please contact us for details. Location service charge is excluded. If you require additional drivers, fees will apply and are payable direct to the rental desk on arrival.

GPS units are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. There is general availability but in the event, the car hire firm cannot provide and payment has been received, the client will receive a full refund for the GPS unit.

Escorted Packages

Accommodation each night, breakfast each morning, having stayed at the accommodation overnight, Personal guide/driver, luxury vehicle at your disposal throughout your visit, tolls and road fees included, entry to attractions included (all attractions listed in your itinerary are included except those listed under ‘at leisure’), guided sightseeing each day, and advice with dining locations.

Paying For Your Travel Arrangements

You will be required to pay a deposit to us for each person when you book unless this is within 60 days of departure when the full amount of the booking is payable. The deposit amount will be specified by us or your travel agent when your booking is made. If it is not specified then it will be the amount that we ask you to pay when you book, even if this is 100% of the vacation price.

You must pay the final balance due to us, at least 60 days before you arrive in Ireland. If you don’t, we reserve the right to treat your booking as canceled and to charge you a cancellation charge up to 100% of the total balance outstanding. Processing fees will be applied to all bookings. Processing fees are payable on the full value of your tour regardless of whether the tour is canceled or not.

If you pay money for your booking to a travel agent appointed by us, they will hold that money as our agent from the time they receive it until they pay the money to us. In cases where there is a large final payment due we may request payment by bank transfer. If your payment is made by credit card a fee will apply, please check fee at the time of booking. We do not accept personal cheques.

If You Change Your Booking

You must ensure all names and details are entered correctly at the time of booking. You will receive an invoice once your booking is confirmed and must contact us straight away if there is something that you need to correct.

You may transfer your booking to another person, providing the following conditions are met:
– You authorize the change in writing
– The new lead passenger accepts the transfer and the terms of our agreement
– That person complies with the terms of the existing booking
– That person has valid vacation insurance – you cannot transfer your vacation insurance to the new lead passenger.

Please note that more major changes, including but not limited to, traveling later than planned, changes which lower the basic price of your vacation, and changes which result in your vacation ceasing to be a Vacation Package will be treated as a cancellation and incur the appropriate charges.

Please bear in mind that certain accommodation suppliers and other transport providers treat changes as a cancellation and charge accordingly, up to 100% of the cost for that part of the arrangement. Where applicable these charges will be passed on to you.

When changing your vacation details, the price of your new travel arrangements will be based on the price that applies on the day you make the change. These prices may not be the same as when you first made your booking.

Some accommodation is priced according to the number of people staying there. If your party size changes, we’ll recalculate your booking cost based on the new number of people going. If fewer people share the accommodation, then the cost per person may go up. This extra cost isn’t a cancellation charge, and it isn’t normally covered by insurance.

Guide to our cancellation charges – these charges are based on how many days before your booked departure we receive your cancellation notice, and are a percentage of the total cost of your booking. If you want to cancel one or more passengers on the booking you’ll have to pay a proportion of the applicable cancellation charge for those passengers.

Your deposit is non-refundable, even if the cancellation charge calculated is lower than the deposit amount paid. Where extra facilities or transport options are non-refundable, in part or in full, the cost of these will be added to the cancellation charge you have to pay. Covid-19 Update: If you cannot travel due to travel restrictions in Ireland or your home country at the time of your tour your deposit will not be forfeited and instead will be made available as a credit for a future trip with no time limit on when to use it. This applies to Love Irish Tours tours only and not third party tours.

If you booked using a Low Deposit Offer, the full deposit amount stated on your confirmation invoice will need to be paid upon cancellation.

The cancellation charge may be higher for certain travel arrangements, such as group coach tours.

Refund payments have a 10% handling fee.

These cancellation terms are applied either to complete cancellations or part cancellations of any booking.

Attractions – Love Irish Tours is not responsible for any attractions that are closed for any reason and therefore not accessible for the visitor.

Love Irish Tours are not responsible for any delays outside their control that cause passengers to miss their flights. Love Irish Tours will make every effort on escorted tours to get passengers to the airport on time but are not responsible for any unexpected delays.

Accommodation – Any accommodation we arrange for you must only be used by those people named on your confirmation invoice (or on latest amendment invoice issued). You are not allowed to share the accommodation or let anyone else stay there. You are responsible for the cost of any damage caused to your accommodation or its contents during your stay. These charges must be met by you and may have to be paid locally.
