Day 2 starts off by travelling from Dublin to Waterford, which is Ireland’s oldest city. The city dates back to the 9th century when it was founded by Viking raiders. Continue your journey throughout Ireland as you travel to Cork from Waterford, where your first stop will be in Ardmore so that you can see the Round Tower dating back over 1,000 years ago. Your next stop is the exciting Midleton Whiskey Distillery where even if you are not a fan of whiskey, will find the process fascinating. You’ll also get to enjoy a sample or two of this incredible Irish whiskey. You’ll continue your travels as you head towards Cobh, which is where the famous Titanic departed from. After an adventure-packed day in Cork, it is time to travel to Kerry, where you’ll see some of the most stunning scenes that Ireland has to offer as you travel The Ring of Kerry. Take in the wonderful views of the beaches and cliffs as you drive along this incredible road. This route also includes one of the filming locations In Ireland that was used for the Star Wars franchise. Experience the life of a farmer in Ireland as you’ll be lucky enough to get several demonstrations such as sheep shearing and sheepdog herding flocks. The evening will come to an end by staying in the Ballyseede Castle, which itself is full of incredible history.

Your final full day on your luxury castle tour will be spent in the wonderous County Clare. You will travel from Clare back to Dublin for your last day taking in the Burren National Park, a unique karst landscape, along the way. From there you will travel along the midlands of Ireland to the ancient County of Meath where you will visit the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site at Newgrange, a monument older than the pyramids of Egypt. Stay in Clontarf Castle for your final night.
