Begin your luxury castle tour of Ireland in Dublin as you travel the capital city to see incredible historic buildings, such as Trinity College. It’s time to visit Dublin Castle now, which today plays a leading role in European Union activities. Clontarf Castle is where you’ll spend your evening, which is a stunning site, which was the scene of the famous Battle of Clontarf which took place more than a millennium ago.

Day 2 starts off by travelling from Dublin to Waterford, which is Ireland’s oldest city. The city dates back to the 9th century when it was founded by Viking raiders. Previously, Waterford has seen invasions and famine, whereas it is now a thriving community which is the home to the fabulous Waterford Crystal, which you are more than welcome to visit as you will get the opportunity the see extremely skilled craftspeople turn molten glass into true works of art. You could also head along to the Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum. Check in to your hotel in the evening, which is the incredible Waterford Castle Hotel and Golf Resort.
Day 3 : Cork

Continue your journey throughout Ireland as you travel to Cork from Waterford, where your first stop will be in Ardmore so that you can see the Round Tower dating back over 1,000 years ago. Your next stop is the exciting Midleton Whiskey Distillery where even if you are not a fan of whiskey, will find the process fascinating. You’ll also get to enjoy a sample or two of this incredible Irish whiskey. You’ll continue your travels as you head towards Cobh, which is where the famous Titanic departed from. Before heading back to spend the night in Cork city we have one more stop, it’s time to kiss The Blarney Stone, along with visiting the Blarney Woollen Mills where you can find exquisite Irish-made goods.
Day 4 & 5: Kerry

After an adventure-packed day in Cork, it is time to travel to Kerry, where you’ll see some of the most stunning scenes that Ireland has to offer as you travel The Ring of Kerry. Take in the wonderful views of the beaches and cliffs as you drive along this incredible road. This route also includes one of the filming locations In Ireland that was used for the Star Wars franchise. Experience the life of a farmer in Ireland as you’ll be lucky enough to get several demonstrations such as sheep shearing and sheepdog herding flocks. The evening will come to an end by staying in the Ballyseede Castle, which itself is full of incredible history.
Day 6: Clare

Your final full day on your luxury castle tour will be spent in the wonderous County Clare. We’ll begin by taking a ferry across the longest river of Ireland and the UK, the River Shannon, in order to travel to see the Cliffs of Moher, which are truly a sight to behold. You’ll visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and if you’d like, can even get an authentic Irish pint in a pub that dates back to the 1620 era. You’ll be staying at the wonderful Dromoland Castle for the evening, which for the O’Brien clan was an ancestral home for over 900 years.
Day 7: Dublin

You will travel from Clare back to Dublin for your last day taking in the Burren National Park, a unique karst landscape, along the way. From there you will travel along the midlands of Ireland to the ancient County of Meath where you will visit the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site at Newgrange, a monument older than the pyramids of Egypt. Stay in Clontarf Castle for your final night.
