Day 1: Dublin Arrival & Dalkey Village
Just as you finish lunch, we will begin our wonderous tour which will allow you to sample just some of what Ireland and Scotland has to offer. Once you have met your tour director at your hotel, you will take a trip to Dalkey Village to take part in a walk throughout where you will discover many wonderful shops, restaurants and bars. You’ll also get to visit Dalkey Castle, full of rich history. Later in the evening you’ll be joined by your tour guide for a welcoming drink along with a discussion about your trip as you also enjoy dinner in the hotel. Day 1 includes Dinner.

Day 2: Dublin Tour & Taylor’s Three Rock Pub
Start your morning off with a tour of the wonderful Dublin City Centre, the glorious capital of Ireland. Take a tour of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, built in the 1200s. Your knowledgeable tour guide will be able to point out anything in the city dedicated to famous Irish people who have helped greatly to develop the country’s history over time. You have the afternoon free to yourself, but we recommend using your vouchers for the open-top bus tour of the city. The evening will finish off with dinner at an Irish pub, where you can try some Irish cuisine. The night will finish off with live music and dancing along with delicious Irish coffee. Day 2 includes Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 3: Antrim Coast & Giant’s Causeway
Take a trip north towards Derry, Northern Ireland, where a tour guide will give you a walking tour of the city whilst explaining the city’s fascinating history to you. Continue to the Giant’s Causeway in County Antrim which contains incredible hexagonal columns which were formed over 60 million years ago by volcanic activity. Keep an eye out for Finn McCool, the mythical giant of the area, as you take in the sea views along with the incredible rock formations. The evening will be complete with dinner in Ballycastle hotel, where you can also check in upon arrival. Day 3 includes Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 4: Heritage Farm & Titanic Belfast
The morning begins with a trip to The Causeway Coast Discover Centre where you will be treated to some wonderful Irish tea and delicious scones. Travel from Antrim to Belfast over the Nine Glens of Antrim, which is a breathtakingly gorgeous scenic route. It has also become more famous in recent years as scenes from the hit TV show ‘Game of Thrones’ were filmed in this area. Once you arrive in Belfast, you’ll discover some more incredible history, such as Victorian buildings and where the iconic Titanic was built over 100 years ago. You’ve got some free time to explore the city for yourself before dinner in the evening at the hotel. Day 4 includes Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 5: Ferry to Scotland & Pitlochry
Day 5 will begin by saying goodbye to Ireland as you take a ferry to Scotland to begin the next stage of your tour. Once in Scotland, begin experiencing this wonderful land immediately as you visit Blair Castle, which dates back to the year 1269 as it was the home of Dukes and Earls of Athol. Discover how Scottish whiskey is created by visiting the Blair Athol Distillery where you’ll also enjoy a sample at the end of the tour. The rest of the afternoon can be spent exploring by visiting many places that are within walking distance, such as the gardens or the hotel museum. Day 5 includes Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 6: Whisky Tasting & St Andrews
Continue your journey south and view the wonderful scenery on the east coast that is St. Andrews, known as the ‘Home of Golf’ whilst also being famous for its university, which is where Prince William and Kate Middleton studied. You’ll get to experience a walking tour as well as some free time to explore for yourself. After working up an appetite after all that exploration in the early stages of the day, enjoy dining out on some delicious Scottish cuisine whilst enjoying a live show with dancing and bagpipes. Day 6 includes Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 7: Edinburgh Tour & Castle
Start your morning with a sightseeing tour of Edinburgh which will allow you to see the main points of interest, which include mansions which are over 2 centuries old. You’ll also have the opportunity to see the medieval houses of the Royal Mile which are so closely compacted together. Day 7 also includes a tour of Edinburgh Castle, which overlooks the city and includes spectacular views. The remainder of the day is free to roam as you choose, this could include more sightseeing, shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, enjoying a nice drink and much more. Day 7 includes Breakfast.

Day 8: Tour Ends in Edinburgh
After you’ve enjoyed your Irish and Scottish Sampler, you will enjoy a tasty breakfast and then your trip will, unfortunately, come to an end. But worry not, as there is always next time to look forward to. Day 8 includes Breakfast.
